Crassula tetragona are drought tolerant plants that are attractive, carefree and always look green. They are often used in bonsai pots to look like pine trees. In the ground, they grow up to 4 feet tall. They will branch at the tips and can be used as a low, informal hedge. Crassula are perfect for dry landscapes with other succulent plants and cacti. Their color can vary from green to deep, bluish green. They can take full sun to light shade, love heat and are easy to root and grow. If you think you have a brown thumb, this is the plant for you!
A simple fountain is transformed into something entertaining and theatrical with the right type of lighting. The combination of flowing water and reflections onto nearby surfaces is certain to help create a stunning focal feature in the garden.
This Image When planning your new landscape, the first place to start is by driving around your neighborhood and seeing what other people have done with their landscapes. Bring a sketch pad or digital camera to record things you like. Your next stop is your local nursery or garden center. Look at what plants do well in your area. Look at any displays they have setup to get an idea of which plants work well together. And dont be afraid to ask questions.
