Be bold with a bright blue wall colour in your dining room. This colour lends itself well to both modern and traditional furnishings. And that’s just what you see here – a traditional mirror and side table, alongside industrial-style pendants and slimline dining furniture in pale-painted woods. Splashes of orange provide the perfect complementary colour.
Warm up a white scheme with wooden dining furniture. The natural tones of wood are a great complement to white and this simple combination gives a typically country room a modern feel. Handmade plates from Spain provide pops of colour. Use an island or peninsula unit to separate the different areas of an open-plan kitchen-diner. Not only will it create a visual barrier, but it will also provide a handy counter for serving food. A mixture of chair colours adds interest to this monochrome scheme.
This Image Grey sure looks great in this dining space. Evidently, everything in here sure looks like they definitely wanted grey as the main color; I would assume that they surely wanted to achieve a contemporary space that would look great with white - which is basically all the colors in the color wheel, right?
