One of the easiest options for kitchen storage is the standard closed cabin or cupboard. Whether your style tastes tend to be traditional, or if they swing to the far modern end of the spectrum, a multitude of closed storage options exists. Many homeowners favor this type because it‘s easy to keep things neat and tidy looking by just keeping the cabinet doors closed an ad minimum of items on the counters.
Dark worktops are a practical choice, as food stains will be invisible. They also add a bit of drama to standard wood units. In any neutral scheme, a hit of colour works wonders and that’s just what the lime-green blind and other accessories do here. Shaker-style units are great for achieving a country look. But what’s even more country about this room is the open wood shelving with pretty crockery on display. Open shelving makes a space feel less boxed in, keeps objects close to hand and looks pretty fabulous, too.
This Image Designers tell us that small rooms like the laundry room or the powder room are some of the best places for patterned wallpaper. Well guess what? If you have a galley kitchen, you have the perfect small room to wallpaper it up.
