Less is more when it comes to this refined, bespoke Shaker-style kitchen. A lack of fussy wall tiles and flooring lets the subtle, pale painted cabinets stand proud in this large room even though it is just few shades darker than the walls themselves. Creamy quartz work tops flow into the cabinetry while a unobtrusive stainless steel splash-back frames the huge double oven. The dog bed nestled within the island unit allows pets to stay safely out of the way but still feel in the thick of the action.
A row of floor-to-ceiling windows and a large skylight work together in this kitchen-diner to create a bright and airy space. Teal cabinetry and upholstery add a pop of contemporary colour. The row of three glass pendant lampshades complete the modern look. The space works really well, with the sink overlooking the garden and plenty of storage space. Black grouting and exposed bulbs coupled with neon signs give this scheme an urban, contemporary edge, while vintage elements give the kitchen a mismatched look.
This Image By incorporating some glass‐fronted kitchen storage, it‘s possible to add display space as well as another design element into the kitchen. The look can be modern or retro and the glass can be clear or frosted, depending upon the desired result. Scavolini‘s design uses some old‐style glass cabinets to dress up the space while incorporating kitchen storage.
